Customer Review: Worth Every Penny

I've always used electric razors. While they're safer, they rarely cut even close to the bladed razors. I've gone through 2 Remington and 2 Norelco razors in 15 years. I got sick of the top-of-the-line Norelco not getting the hair from under the jawline. This one, though pricey, shaved my face perfectly smooth the first use. When paired with William's Lectric Shave, you'd swear you were 10 again (facial follicaly speaking). There have been complaints that the cleaning is loud and I can attest to that, but I only noticed it the first few cleanings in the morning. I live with 2 light sleepers, one who sleeps with with door open and one with door closed and after a month they were never bothered.
This is the best razor I have ever owned and the least grizzled the non-goateed part of my face has been since girls stopped being icky. That's German engineering for you.

I've had many electric shavers, and this is by far the overall best. I sometimes go without shaving over the weekend, and other shavers had great trouble with several days growth of my beard. This Braun combines a different cutter in the middle that is able to take care of the longer growth, so no need to extend a the trimmer for missed beard growth on Mondays. Cleaning process appears to be more effective than other self-cleaning shaver kits, plus the cleaner doesn't give me a rash like the supposedly hypoallergenic solution of one of my previous electric shavers. Running time is great, but the trade-off is a slightly larger shaver than I'm used to. For me, it's a good trade-off though, as the shaver is easy to hold. I will say it's not the closest electric shave I've had, but it's close too it. It's expensive for an electric shaver, but for me, it was a great buy.Customer Review: Out with the old

So, i've been using an old Remington shaver for about 5 or 6 years now, and I was just accustomed to it taking forever to get a decent shave. Never thought twice about having to go over and over the same area numerous times before I actually saw any difference. I have to tell, I've "seen the light". Now I actually enjoy shaving. The old Remington is the only one I have to compare this with, but so far, I'm extremely impressed. I actually enjoy shaving now, and don't have any problem doing it every morning. I have had this shaver for about a month and have noticed little to no razor burn, and I do like the cleaning feature. However, just don't turn it to clean right before you fall asleep, as it is a little loud and makes some clicking noises that even made my dog jump right off the bed! But other than that, I highly recommend this shaver...use and enjoy!Customer Review: Excellent

This is my first time using an electric razor. The product is very nice, it comes with a travel case that has a brush, it comes with a cleaning cartridge, the base charger, a power adaptor (that plugs into the charger or directly to the razor).
At first, it did give me razer-burn, but that went away after a couple days of use (and im told up to 3 weeks for some people). Cleaning it is super easy. I dont clean it using the full clean like it suggests you always do after every use. Typically i shave once a day so its only small hairs, and i just loosen the guard and turn it on over a trashcan, then blow on it and its perfectly clean.
Cleaning with the base is actually pretty loud, so its not something you do at night.
Remember: this is a dry razer, dont get it wet!
Overall, i love it.

I have been using electric shavers for some time now (over 20 years). My most recent was a top of the line Norelco (the James Bond one). That was an excellent razor, but having recently replaced the heads I was still noticing a not great shave, and I never could get that area under the nose with it. I am not sure if my razor was losing some "ooomph" or what. In any case, I went to the local shaver shop and tried this new Braun. I had owned Braun shavers before and was very impressed with this one. It shaves easily and quickly (I am done in under 3 minutes). It is quiet, and the cleaning system is just fantastic. My shaves are getting closer and closer as my face gets reacquainted with a foil (versus Norelco rotary) system - don't be afraid, it was an easy transition. I am getting the easiest and closest shave ever. Bravo Braun!
