I am a fan of Burt's Bees products, however I didn't care for this one. It didn't have an affect on my hair and it felt the same after I left it in for over an hour. Even though you shampoo your hair after this product (maybe takes away the softness?) I thought my hair's condition would have at least been improved. But nothing.
Another thing I didn't like was the amount of the product you have to use to coat your hair. Maybe because I have super thick and coarse hair (and plenty of it!) I had to almost use the entire tube at one time. I used it on my dry hair because I heard it's more effective that way, and to coat your hair evenly takes too much product. I am buying another tube to test it out on damp hair and hopefully I can edit this review and say something good. Hopefully it improves the condition of my hair as well.

I have only used Burt's Bees lip balm before, but I have heard so much about it that I requested this as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I was not impressed (and yes, I followed directions). It had an dirty, flat smell, that I didn't find particularly appealing. It was also difficult to wash out - it felt like it was the greasiest conditioner I have ever used even after thorough rinsing. Finally, my hair didn't feel any different than when I use my regular shampoo and conditioner. So that was three strikes, and this product is out.
