This was an expensive that doesn't push much air. Our woodstove sets in an alcove and we needed a fan for air circulation. We were hoping to get away from the noisy electric fan but I guess it wasn't to be. In retrospect I wouldn't have bought this fan as it didn't meet our needs.Customer Review: Caframo Ecofan Airplus

I think this is more of a novelty than a useful addition to the home. While I have not measured the air volume it does not generate much flow. It's a good conversation piece though.Customer Review: Worked for two weeks

I followed directions exactly as to how to position this fan on the stove and how to use it. The temp of our stove is always between 400 and 600 degrees. The fan worked fine for about two weeks. Now suddenly it is so slow it's useless in moving the air. It was not banged for bumped or even moved - it just slowed down so it's no longer effective. I'm 2 days past being able to return it so I guess I'll try to use the one year warranty. Wish me luck with that!Customer Review: My expectations were too high

I ordered this for our pellet stove, and when it arrived I realized it was made for wood stoves. The directions didn't mention whether or not it would work on a pellet stove, so we gave it a try. It actually worked fine, but I had hoped it would move the heat down the hallway toward our bedrooms, and that was just too much to ask of this fan.
