The ecofan is fun to watch. I knew before I bought that it would barely blow any air around the room, but I wanted it anyway. My stirling cycle fan requires a push to get it started and doesn't blow much air either, but the ecofan starts on it's own. I'm glad that I have this toy.Customer Review: fun vs effective

I like it, wonder if it really moves that much air, but it is quiet. Engineer friend agrees its probably more cosmetic than effective, efficient. I guess I expected it to move air farther out into the room than it does. Nevertheless I like it.
