I am a HUGE fan of Caldrea and Mrs. Meyer's products and have been using her products for around 3yrs or so (?). I do use some non scented homemade house cleaning products and although they work fine and are really inexpensive, I really dislike cleaning and frankly, the Caldrea & Mrs. Meyers products make it so much more pleasant and leave my home smelling fresh. For those of you wondering, YES her products REALLY work (both are essentially the same company) and this dish soap is one of my most favorite products from her line. It amazingly GETS RID of nasty smells like canned tuna or foods that leave lingering odors in the dish after they are cooked such as hot dogs, bacon, burgers, BBQ items and such. Obviously if you wash your dishes, the odors will disappate when you are done with your dishes but this literally cuts the scent when you are washing the item. I was curious how well it worked and after opening a can of tuna, I did a quick swirl rinse in the sink, the added some water to the tuna can then added one drop of this dish soap to it and I was amazed how it got rid of the stinky tuna smell.
This dishsoap cuts grease (unlike some other natural cleansers) and smells great! What more can you ask for?
This new Mandarin Vetiver version smells like a very citrusy type of mandarin vs a sweet orange smell. Most of you won't know what this is but there is an Okinawan citrus fruit called a "Shikwasa" and this smell reminds me of it. It's a very clean, crisp mandarin smell. My son and I both have allergies and are sensitive to various scents (particularily artificial scents like from laundry detergent and home air freshners) but even though some of the products may smell quite strong for some people, these products have never bothered me.
A notice for those who prefer subtle scents or are very sensitive, the Mandarin Vetiver is one of the stronger scents from their line. I personally LOVE IT and can't wait until Amazon gets it in stock as it will be my new favorite scent from her line - my current is the Ginger Pomelo line. I can't wait to get the entire set and fill my home with this delicious scent!!
