Although I love California Baby's bath products and their Sunscreen Stick, I was surprisingly disappointed in this product. I applied it very generously on my toddler's arms and legs, and it did not seem to protect her for more than a half hour in the sun. Additionally, she has very sensitive skin and I found that it irritated her arms with small bumps. Perhaps for a baby that is not very fair skinned or sensitive, this product works better.Customer Review: Not for my face.

PROS: I love that this is fragrance free & uses safe / natural ingredients, no chemical sunscreens.
CONS: Too thick for every day use on facial skin (is advertised as being "ultra light & sheer"). I fear that I would start breaking out if I used this every morning as a facial moisturizer / sunscreen. Pricy. B/C the product is so thick, pump dispenser does not work well.

This product is thick and goopy and does not absorb into the skin but sits on top of it and you have to really rub it in. It also makes your skin look greasy and shiny. On the plus side, it meets EWG standards (so it won't give you cancer). And it's not cheap. Even so, I'm tempted to just throw it out.Customer Review: Impossible to rub in

I don't know why this product has so many good reviews. I do like California baby in general, and use their baby shampoo and calendula cream religiously. However, this product was a waste of money. It is thick and impossible to rub in. Furthermore it has parabens! I am paying a premium for a natural sunscreen and it has toxic chemicals. Lastly every time I open the tube a huge dollop squirts out at me. I subsequently bought the Badger sunscreen and it has no chemicals, is much easier to rub in, and it costs less! It works too, I was using on myself out all day with no sunburn to test it before using it on baby. I love the Badger and bought it for family members as well.Customer Review: The product was previously openned
