I was in the process of transitioning from blade shaving to electric shaving using a Norelco Arcitec razor. I figured that it would be best to have a good electric pre-shave and after shave to make the process as painless as possible. Even though both these products are quite pricey, I took a chance and ordered them. I have not been disappointed in the least and they have been worth every penny. Along those lines, you don't have to use much of either so they go a very long ways! I found that if I didn't use the California North pre-shave that my skin tended to feel like it had been burned/irritated. Not so with the California North! (And the after shave is so incredibly soothing!) They are simply wonderful products!
Description of California North Electric Glide Formula-4 oz
Electric Glide Formula is recommended to anyone who uses an electric razor. Electric razor users normally shave without any protection, and this damages your skin prematurely. This is a very hot product for us, as 70% of men use electric razors in Asia, while in the U.S. it is 30%. The product is very slippery between your fingers offering maximum lubricity. Rub this into the beard, wash hands, and shave. As you would imagine with a liquid product, this one absorbs even quicker into the hair follicle, and stands it for a closer shave. More importantly the product provides a protective glide surface for your razor to move efficiently on top of while it protects your facial skin. A priest and long-term client in the South mentioned that after years of abusing his skin without any preparation, he was ready to nominate me for sainthood. The surface of his skin had improved with Electric Glide, and the product helped to eliminate his razor burn. It has a very light grapefruit botanical scent. Follow with our After Shave Care, or our O2XYGEN Fragrance After Shave Balm.
