Customer Reviews of Carlson Super DHA Gems, 500mg Softgels, 180-Count

Customer Review: What a great price for this dose of DHA!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a really great product at a super low price. It has 500 mg DHA in each capsule. Most other products you have to take two or even four capsules to get this dose. That means this product is way less expensive than the others. DHA supports the brain, the eyes and of course the heart. This product also has 100 mg of EPA so it is a very potent capsule for the price..probably about half as expensive as the competition. What a great value for a contaminant free, mercury free DHA Omega 3 product. I started taking Carlson fish oils over twenty years ago because they are tested and are contaminant free. And they work. In my nutrition practice Carlson is the only brand of fish oils I ever recommend, because they are fresh, fully potent and contaminant free.

Customer Review: Excellent source of DHA!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

You can't beat the price of this DHA! Plus for the price, it's slim picking for a pill with 500mg of DHA! I have no after-fish flavor. I use this as my prenatal source of DHA. QUALITY PRODUCT!

Customer Review: Beware: Misleading Ad and Poor Customer Service
Summary: 1 Stars

Be aware that this product is titled "180 softgels." However, the quantity in the title doesn't change no matter which quantity option you choose to purchase. So you can choose a quantity of "1" or a quantity of "60," but the title still says "180 softgels." When I viewed the item, the price displayed was the lower one. Since the quantities were confusing and title looked the same, I chose the lower price. When I received the product, I saw that it was "60 softgels" rather than "180 softgels" as stated in the title. When I informed The Vitamin Shoppe of the error, I was basically told it was mu fault and that I could return it at my own expense, in which case I would have paid for shipping both ways and still not have the product I wanted. I even offered to pay the difference and buy the larger bottle if they would pay for the return shipping of the mistake, but they refused.

I prefer to do business with companies that stand behind their products and correct their mistakes. The Vitamin Shoppe doesn't appear to do that. I recommend that you purchase the product elsewhere. There are other vendors on Amazon with lower prices.

Customer Review: Same as Michael

Don't buy from them! The pricing & picture are misleading. I though I ordered 180, but got 60 softgels at $21.45. This price is above the price on Amazon's web site for 60 softgels by about $6.00. The supplier said it was Amazon's fault, Amozon says it is the suppliers fault. HOW CAN I TRUST ANY THINGS PRICED ON AMIZON WEB SITE NOW? ALSO, HOW DO YOU GET SOMEONE FROM AMAZION MANAGEMENT TO RESPOND?
