Carlson is a very good supplement company, you can trust them completely for quality. Vitamin D is seriously important to include in your daily regimen, especially for those who get little sun in the winter, or are indoors a lot. My endocrinologist told me to take 4000 mg a day, but 2000 mg a day should work for many people. You get 10,000 mg in 10 minutes in the sun. I wouldn't take more than I've mentioned till scientists say differently though, as too much is very bad for you. Getting sun is the safest way to get vitamin D as it's possible to get too much. But definitely get some every day.
