I bought this for my brother, who suffered an eye injury when he was very young and has since gone through many surgeries to try and fully restore his sight. Despite all that, he is near legally blind and needs help reading everyday things. The magnifier is a little bulkier than I expected, but I'm sure thats more my fault for not checking the measurements correctly. The attached light is bright and clear, but I agree with some other users that its position makes it impossible to use with a left hand if needed. The magnification is very strong, which is perfect for my brother, but its also clear to see, unlike magnifiers he's used in the past. My only real concern is how well the lense will stand up to normal wear and tear. I'm considering testing a screen protector on the lense to see if it will extend the life of the product, but all in all this product does what it was meant for perfectly.
