Customer Reviews of Cellfood Liquid Concentrate, 1-Ounce BottleCustomer Review: Not sure about this Summary: 3 Stars
After reading such great reviews for this product, I was very excited and hopeful upon purchasing it. I really wanted it to work. I used it as recommended for about a week and did not notice any difference. Since then, I have to admit that I've been forgetting to take it. I'm going to start taking it again--maybe it just needs more time to kick in. As of right now though, I have not received the benefits that many others have. Hopefully, after a second try it will be effective.
Customer Review: Didn't notice much. Summary: 3 Stars
I've always been a runner and and saw an ad for this product and it got me curios. After a few days with it, I've yet to notice a difference, but then again can you even notice one?
Customer Review: This company makes too many lies. Summary: 2 Stars
First of all, the claimed inventor of Cellfood, Everett L. Storey, who was supposed to be two times Nobel prize winner and top secrete Manhattan Project does not exist in both the Nobel prize or Manhattan Project registry. The only place you can find this person is on websites promoting Cellfood.
They claim the Earth's atmosphere used to consist of 38-50% oxygen. However, the Earth's atmosphere never contained more than 35% oxygen at its peak.
There are numerous studies posted on [...]. However, if you notice, all of the studies are performed either in Nuscience (makers of Cellfood) laboratory or in countries outside of the U.S. where legitimacy can not be traced. The dissolved oxygen test that claims to be performed in an FDA certified laboratory does not even state which laboratory it is in. The project and reference # provided in the dissolved oxygen test results are meaningless as it will not allow you to trace the source.
There are so many other bogus claims, besides the ones I mentioned, made by the sellers of Cellfood that I am surprised nobody has filed a lawsuit against this company.
I give it two stars instead of one because the placebo effect I got from it did encourage me to exercise more and made me feel like I had more energy. After doing more research into this product, I was disgusted to see how many lies this company made to market their product. I bet most of the positive reviews were written by the Cellfood people or people who were paid by the Cellfood makers.
Customer Review: Not so much... Summary: 2 Stars
I, like most people who found out about this product, was very interested and excited. I first learned about oxygen therapy/supplementing through a theory called the ACM method, which basically promotes deep breathing, which can be done instead of using Cellfood. (Yoga people!!!) Anyway, I am on day 20 and nothing. The first few days, I believed I had more energy and my mood was elevated. That was more than likely a placebo effect...I just wanted it to help so badly, my mind thought that it did. I am 27-years-old, I already eat healthy and exercise, but I work a full-time job, take care of my three-year-old, cook, clean, etc. and am going through a divorce with a man who does not help with anything. So, I thought I could use a little summin' summin' for lack of energy and depression from the divorce. Like I stated, day 20 and I am actually getting sick. Over the last week I have been exhausted every day and have a hard time waking up, after runs, my shins and knees have been killing me and today I feel like I am actually getting a cold! I did hear of the "detox" so maybe, just maybe this is it, but I am now very skeptical. I do not pay $27 for a tiny bottle of something, so the disappointment is there but I will finish the bottle. I have not missed a day or dose either.
If things change, I will repost and take back what I've attested to here, but otherwise, BUYERS BEWARE!
Customer Review: Reall? You have to be kidding me! This stuff is Rubbish Summary: 1 Stars
I was talked into buying this rubbish by the manager at a Health Food store, whose opinion I value highly. He made the same claims: "this stuff gives you tons of energy, clarity of thought, number one energy product in America", so I bought a few to try it out. It makes me wonder who's writing these reviews on Amazon.com??? b/c everyone i've had sample the stuff has felt just as I did--absolutely nothing!!! And note: I've tried virtually every supplement/drug in the book. I'm also extremely sensitive to any sort of excitatory effect. For example, I feel a massive energy boost after a few sips of coffee. I can't drink coffee. I'm jittery and all over the place if I have more than a few sips. So if a supplement is going to work, I'm usually the first to feel it and I will tell you that this stuff is a gimmick; I felt nothing. Granted, i'm in extremely good shape so perhaps there isn't an oxygen deficit or whatever this stuff is supposed to work on, in me. But then, it would have had some effect on the friends of mine that sampled it b/c they aren't in shape at all. Cell Food had no effect on energy or clarity of thought. Not even a subtle one. I get more of a boost from swallowing a multivitamin via a cup of tap water.
Apart from Alpha-GPC and a few of the neurotropics like BRAND Name Piracetam and Hydergine, most supplements are a waste of your money. There are a few companies that make good pharmaceutical grade stuff like Metagenics and Neuroscience but these supps are not available to the public(well they might be now but they're way overpriced). There is only way to get the desired energy boosting, cognitive enhancing effect that makes you feel awesome that everyone is really searching for. That is through prescription stimulants like Dexedrine, Desoxyn(not Adderall b/c it causes to much anxiety due to the l-isomer effect) and Nuvigil. Caffeine is a horrible drug and should be banned. Nicotine wouldn't be so bad if the delivery system wasn't so toxic. Stimulants, in low doses, are according to shire pharmaceuticals "safe enough for 3 years olds and now in Bubble gum flavor". So common man?? Why do we waste our money on gimmicks such as Cell Food when, for 10 dollars, you can go and pick up 60 pills of pure dextroamphetamine. Granted, the stuff is not tolerated by all and can cause strange behavior when abused but it's no more addictive than caffeine if that's what you're worried about. It can take a toll on you if you don't sleep but the deleterious effects of caffeine are far worse. Besides, that's why you supplement with things like Rhodiola or Neuro Optimizer and exercise and eat healthy. I'm just saying, I've wasted my money on so many different supplements through the years, including energy drinks etc, and the only thing that "REALLY WORKS" is a good old fashioned satchel of amphetamines--and it works long term too if you supplement with Namenda. Not sure what the guy that posted about Namenda was on about; Namenda amps me up and gives me loads of energy; certainly doesn't make me tired. Everyone reacts differently to supps/drugs, I'll admit but me, I'm done with wasting my money on things like CellFood(pleassse), and i'm heading to the nearest doc and then pharmacy to get a script of Dex for ten bucks. I never write reviews on Amazon but was stunned when I saw all the positive feedback about this Cell Food garbage. Someone is writing false things in my strong opinion.
