I am a skeptic in general, but as a woman who suddenly had developed an underarm sweat DELUGE in the last few years I was desperate. (Seriously, I was considering Botox injections because the wetness was so ridiculous and embarrassing. I am a person that tries not to take an asprin unless it's absolutely necessary, if that gives you any perspective on how bad I had it.)
This product reduced the river to a tiny creek on the FIRST USE, and now that I've been using it every other day for 6 days I hardly have any wetness at all. Honestly. I was at the point were I sweated under my arms even when I was freezing cold. It would only take about 5 to 10 minutes after putting on a shirt for the wetness to bleed through it. Now, I sweat appropriately when I am exercising and not at any other time.
I feel so relieved, and now I can start wearing something other than black again!!!!! I think people must have thought I was in mourning of some kind for the last few years. :-) It does tingle and itch a little when first applied, but I didn't think it was much at all.
I am unbelievably relieved and happy, so give it a shot and maybe it'll do the same thing for you...

Since the sixth grade, so it has been six years and I don't want to sign up hence the kids review, I have dealt with underarm perspiration. I could never wear white (because after wearing it three times it would discolor), always wore black, wore an undershirt (which looks very akward for women), wore a sweater during the middle of summer, could never fully raise my hand in class, became very paranoid due to the sweating and tried many anti-perspirants Mitchum, Dove, Arrid, Secret, Ban, Lady Speed Stick and none seemed to have work. I was fed up, and finally researched options. After reading many reviews I decided to buy it. It was about five dollars but worth it.
The first day there were no signs of sweating. Although, for me, it felt like my arms were wet they were very dry. After walking home in eighty-degree weather for half and hour and being at school 8-2:30 there was still no sweating. For those interested make sure you follow the directions very careful, it is important and the makers place particular importance on it as well. (I also put on anti-perspirant just in case) All in all, it worked and finally I can be free from sweat marks on my clothes. I highly recommend it.

I rarely write Amazon reviews but I felt extremely compelled to share my "success story" with others to spread the good word about this product. I, like so many other reviewers of Certain Dri suffer from extreme underarm wetness. And, while I've never been officially diagnosed with axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of the underarms), I have nevertheless suffered for years. I attest that the main difference between this product and so many, many other over-the-counter products is its main ingredient (12% aluminum chloride). Nearly everything else on the market uses aluminum zirconium, which cuts it for the mainstream of users, but simply does not for those who suffer from excessive sweating. For years, I'd try varying amounts of aluminum zirconium (the brand makes no difference, chemicals are chemicals) and thought that the top of the line, Mitchum, with it's whopping 20% of the active ingredient would suffice. Nope. You need aluminum chloride. Now, to be fair, perhaps applying aluminum zirconium at bed time (as is directed by Certain Dri) would bring about the same/similar results? Perhaps not? Either way, this stuff really does work, and I'm sticking with it.Customer Review: Simply Outstanding

Talk about a life changing product. I've only had it for two days, but the results are just incredible, that I didn't want to wait to talk about it. I only sweated excessively under one arm, and man was it excessive. Numerous shirts have been thrown away, and some I still use because I don't want to buy new work shirts! When it came in the mail, I had no idea what kind of effect this was going to have on me. At night, I applied it, and it certainly didn't feel like anything was being applied, so you can imagine my face when I thought I bought a useless product. Continuing without any rash/pain whatsoever , I woke up, put on my work clothes and went to work. Through-out the day I used my normal procedures to try to keep the sweat limited (swaying of the arm, keeping it away from my side, etc.) When I got off work, not only did I have no stain on my work shirt, but my undershirt had absolutely no signs of sweat, either. This is truly a miracle product for me, what it has done for me I will never really be able to put to words simply because I'm so self conscious. What's next? As a 21 year-old college student, I couldn't believe I was having problems with excessive underarm perspiration. Regardless of the weather or how warm I was, I dealt with at least 5 days a week of underarm wetness. Sometimes it was so bad that I would sweat through a t-shirt AND sweatshirt. I tried this product as a last resort before going to my doctor and it works amazingly. I have not had a single day of wet underarms since I began using it. NOT ONE! I even occasionally forget to put it on at night as directed, and I don't have problems the next day. I've made it three consecutive days without application without problem!
The only negative thing about this product is that I do note some irritation under my arms. I've found this is best limited if applying very sparingly. If your underarms are uncommonly sensitive, you may not want to use this product. Otherwise -- get this immediately! I have found it at my local Wal-Mart (I don't support buying stuff at wal-mart unless necessary...but I assume this means it can be found elsewhere just as easily) so there is no need to purchase it online and pay for shipping.
