After being a Tide Free user for years, I was looking for an environmentally friendly alternative that would work as well or better. This is it! The clothes smell "dried outside" fresh. Really not a scent, just clean smelling. The whites come out looking bright and the clothes are cleaned with the small amount that is required- 1 TBSP. I just finished my first bag and ordered another. My daughter has sensitive skin and this works perfectly for her also.Customer Review: Gets out anything.

I was out to a party and had someone spill some red wine on my white dress shirt. After getting home late I threw the shirt into the pile and forgot about it. Later in the week I remembered the stain and put the shirt and some dirty towels in my washer with a half scoop of powder and a 1/4 cup of bleach. 30 minutes later my shirt looks good as new. If this product can take dried red wine from a white shirt then it should work for just about everything.Customer Review: I love it.

My husband was skeptical about using a powder detergent, but we've been very happy about this. We had been using dye- and perfume-free liquid detergents, but I feel better about using this, which is made without petroleum products. We sometimes use OxyClean to help with really messy baby and toddler clothes, but otherwise we exclusively use Charlie's Soap. This certainly gets our clothes clean, even very stinky clothes from a potty-training child.Customer Review: The best

I agree with all the other reviewers - I just want to add one thing. Others have said that Charlie's leaves their clothes smelling good - I would disagree. Charlie's Soap leaves your clothes smelling like NOTHING AT ALL. After using Charlie's for a while, I find my old clothes, that had been washed in regular fragrance-free detergents, smell like soap to me, whereas the clothes washed in Charlie's have a glorious complete lack of smell.Customer Review: The best

I own a vacation rental business and manage 25 homes and decided to go green. Charlie's soap is THE best laundry soap I have ever used, and now I use at home with my daughter's clothes also. Everything smells CLEAN, not like faze flowers, but CLEAN! Clothes are softer and last longer. I recommend anyone to switch to it right away! The liquid is great for tough stains pre wash, and the all purpose soap is awesome for housecleaning too.
