This is a great product, it has helped me lose 10lbs & has helped my arthritis also, my sister uses it & has had the same results along with she claims it gives her more energy, my son runs marithons & he says he's never put in such fast times before, you just have to get over the part where people think you're drinking or eating frog eggs, I just tell everyone they taste kind of like tomatoe seeds, you know, like no real taste at all. I don't go without them now. I make up my gel, then I add it to iced tea and drink it all day, my son just throws the seeds into a power drink, then adds water during the day, I put it on my oatmeal, my sister drinks it as well as puts it on salads, she says don't just sprinkle the seeds on things though cause they stick like glue on your teeth & then you look really tacky & don't realize it.Customer Review: ENOUGH OF THE PACKAGING ISSUE!!!

Seriously, the seller must have had issues with packaging in the past but as far as I see (right in front of me) THIS HAS BEEN ALL RESOLVED!!!

Chia has no real flavor so is relatively invisible taste wise. Dry they are crunchy like poppy seeds, wet they are - unusual. There texture is almost like mini fish eggs, though put them in a chunky soup you will only notice there very faint crunch but other wise unnoticeable.
Soaking them and taking them by themselves can be a little unpleasant tactilely especially since they do not have a flavor. However, I have found that if I mix in some cool-aid or instant tea, having some flavor to distract from how they feel then they are just fine, kind of like eating jello before it has fully set up.
But the more you read the better they sound (health wise) and this 5 pound bag is a great value. It will take a while to get through but they keep extremely well.

Great product, besides it came along with other samples as protein and white chia seeds, the seller also wrote a thank you letter which I found very cute! I love chia seeds and add it to my morning cereal breakfast, green machine juice and salads! Good source of calcium and iron! I add chia seeds to everything, I don't go without them. I had severe back pain because I have calcium disorder due to thyroid removal. Back pain is gone, chia seeds is my cure and medicine. I do believe that if you eat right you won't need a doctor, medicine in this country is going to hell, and feeds fat insurance cats. So I added rice bram, chia seebs, rice bran protein, pure lecithin to my diet and I feel much better! I am very happy with this seller! The price is fantastic! Thank you!Customer Review: SO FILLING!

I'm a college student so I don't have much money for healthy food but this is one thing I refuse to go without because they "work" for me. I first realized the chia seeds were "working" when I was on my way home and suddenly felt ravenously hungry. My first thought was that the chia seeds and tea I had had earlier were the cause... until I realized that I last eaten 5 or 6 hours ago and was just NOW feeling hungry. I hadn't even thought about food for the past few hours! For me that is especially incredible, since I'm a "grazer" and eat every few hours out of hunger or boredom. Chia seeds are super-nutritious, decrease your appetite, and increase your energy levels so you should definitely buy some!
