The lady who does my facials uses this to cleanse my face before she begins. I was having quite a few breakouts along my chin (hormonal) and decided I would give this a shot and see if it would work for me. I decided on the Mia because I like the small size and it's perfect for traveling (which I do frequently). I use it twice a day -- morning and night -- and have not experienced any sensitivity on my skin. I do not feel that I had any additional breakouts when I started this, as my skin was already breaking out before using. The cleanser that came with the product was nice, but not critical to making the Mia effective. I use an herbal foaming cleanser that I purchase from my facialist and have great results. My skin is pretty sensitive (I am a fair-skinned redhead with lots of allergies), and I was initially concerned that this would be too aggravating to use 2 times a day. Happily, I have had no problems with it though! I really think that this helps to clear out my pores and allows my facial treatments and serums to perform better. I realize this is an expensive product and a luxury product, but it has paid for itself! I am no longer shelling out a small fortune on acne medications that no longer work. I still get the occasional breakout, but the pimples heal quickly and are small in size. I am no longer breaking out along my chin and under my jawline...yay! My skin is more even-toned, less flaky, and has a "glow" to it. If you use expensive beauty products, I would HIGHLY recommend this as an addition to your beauty routine. It will help you get the most bang for your buck out of all of your serums, moisturizers, and treatments!
