I was so excited to read all of the positive reviews and receive my order. I wanted this to work and be a good product. Just out of the box it seemed to work fine and I was initially satisfied with it. I threw away the packaging. The second time I went to use it I could not get it to start. Checked the battery, shook/tapped the shaver a bit and it started. It just doesn't seem to be very well made or sturdy. A couple of weeks ago I dropped it (a total of about two feet onto the bathroom counter) and it came apart. My husband tried to reassemble it, but no luck. If you look inside the battery compartment, the materials are just flimsy. For me, this was a waste of money. I gave it three starts because - for the short time it worked - I liked it and it did what it said.Customer Review: Definately a shaver and not a trimmer!

This item is somewhat different than expected. I guess I relyed too much on the reviews. I found it to be a total shaver, it removed 99% of the hair. There was basically no need to follow up with another razor. Not what I had in mind. I was expecting a crew cut style length, not the full monty. There is no length adjustment, so it cuts what it cuts, which is everything. It did not nick or cut. It did pull hair a bit making it a tad unconfortable, but not painful. If you are looking for a trimmer,or for the option to trim creatively, this is not for you.Customer Review: great but breaks easy

This little shaver is incredible when it comes to doing it's job...HOWEVER, when it comes to durability, not so much. An extremely close shave without all the razor bumps. One little drop on my tile floor though, and kaboom. It shattered and was unfixable. So much for that $25.
