I purchased this to use on one of my sinks.
It did work well and I liked it but it did not last as long as it should have at all!!! I did not use it for a long time only about a month and at the amount described!
It has already turned red! did not even last half the time it stated :(
So... as promising as this product seemed, due to the fact that it did not last as long as it should have I can't give it 3, 4 or 5 stars. It will be a 2.

After asking a question to one of the other reviews of this filter, I decided to buy it anyway. That was a mistake.
I figured I'd find out if the filter stopped working or if the light was faulty pretty easily because my water has a strong mineral taste and if the light came on but it still tasted fine it would be ok with me.
I bought this filter and a Culligan faucet filter at the same time. The Culligan has a filter that needs to be changed every 3 months or so. This one was supposed to last a year under regular use.
The Culligan was put on the kitchen faucet and is used for cooking and drinking by 4 people. This filter was put on one of two sinks in my master bathroom and used for about once daily drinking and maybe a little teethbrushing by one person only (not with the water left on), but nothing as water-consuming as hand washing or anything like that.
To me, the strong taste I was trying to remove was back within 2 weeks. Although the light stayed green. My husband kept using it. It has now been less than 3 months and the red light is on. As far as taste goes it failed in two weeks, as far as allegedly filtering it lasted less than 3 months; this thing fell far short of the claimed usefulness.
The Culligan, however, is still going strong on it's first filter.
I am very disappointed. Don't do what I did and decide that you'll see for yourself. This thing does not perform the way they claim it will. You will only be disappointed in the end.
I will say that it went on my faucet without a problem and doesn't leak at all. I hope it comes off just as easily since that's what's about to happen to this piece of garbage.

This product seems like a good idea, but instead of the year promised it lasted only one month. Don't bother trying to contact the company: their web site doesn't work and phone has been disconnected. Why is Amazon selling this rip-off product?
