Customer Reviews of Clearblue Easy Digital Pregnancy Test, 4 Count (Packaging May Vary)Customer Review: Extremely Accurate In Seconds! Summary: 5 Stars
I used this product 2 weeks after I suspected I had conceived. Sure enough, within SECONDS, it read "PREGNANT" nice and clear on the display. Just to make sure, I popped the stick out - and yup - 2 lines clear as day. I was a bit shocked because it was an unplanned pregnancy, but it was nice to have a clear result without any doubts. My period was approximately a week late at that point, and I kept having cramping which had led me to believe I was going to get my period. When I went to the doctor, he said it was implantation cramping. He also confirmed the pregnancy and with some sort of fancy shmancy doppler we were able to pick up a very very faint heartbeat. It was amazing! A lot to take in for one day (I was able to get in the same day only 4 hours after taking the home pregnancy test), but wonderful all the same! I conceived January 23rd 2006 and gave birth to a health baby boy on October 9th 2006. He's now 8 and a half months old and doing well. Thanks Clear Blue Easy!!!
Customer Review: Perfect for women with Low HCG Summary: 5 Stars
Home pregnancy tests detect a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in your urine, which occurs 6 to 12 days after implantation. The Tests with the "two pink lines for positive" sometimes do not detect the hCG level in women who do not produce a high level, like me, if they are pregnant.
I have gone through trying to get pregnant and buying the cheaper tests, only to be staring at a stick in the bathroom going "is ...that a line?..." Its frustrating, its expensive and its never good to be stressed out during that delicate time, whether you are pregnant or not.
Clearblue Easy DIGITAL pregnancy tests have a digital window. You pee on the stick, wait a few minutes and there it is...Negative or Positive. NO GUESSING.
The only drawback, that I have heard other women say, is that you cannot keep these for a scrapbook or to show your kids an ancient stick you peed on. The digital readout eventually goes away. I personally dont care.
Customer Review: Worked as expected Summary: 5 Stars
This test is very easy to use and very easy to read the results. To me, the biggest plus is also its biggest drawback. While its nice for it to say pregnant or not pregnant, it doesn't give you any idea of your hcg levels. With the older tests, the second line would generally be darker or lighter (at least for me) depending on how soon I tested. Once, when I miscarried, the tests never did get darker over the following week, letting me know that something wasn't going right. If I had used this test, I wouldn't have any idea that this was happening. Still, it is nice to use early and not have to strain your eyes to see if a line is there are not. The other drawback is price. I can get test for a dollar at my local dollar store that have the same sensitivity as these. So, for me, I would just stick with the cheaper tests.
Customer Review: Some women (below) are just over excited... Summary: 5 Stars
I have always used the "store brand" products but had a coupon so - meh... why not. This test was so simple, accurate, and if you read the instructions properly (which I can only assume some other people get over excited when they want to get pregnant they don't follow proper instructions.) you can only get the most accurate accurate result possible. I actually got two test in a box which was a "bonus" and I forgot all about it until it was time to try again. I realized it had expired and called customer service. They were super helpful and even gave me a whole new test! Holy moley! I am proud to say I currently have a new bundle of joy and I can just thank Clear blue for my perfect result. No, Clearblue you don't suck. I saw the commercial for this test recently - which is HILARIOUS by the way...
Customer Review: Reliable pregnancy test Summary: 5 Stars
I have had to take many many pregnancy tests and learned from the beginning to stick with digital. It tells you simply pregnant/not pregnant, with no is-that-a-line-I-see anxiety. This test is accurate and comes with precise instructions.
A tip if you have to take a lot of pregancy tests, go to the lab of a hospital or doctor's office and they give you this plastic collection bowl that sits right in your toilet so all you have to do is urinate as usual and it goes right into that bowl. Then you just dip the stick in the bowl for the 20 seconds and pull it out, set it on the sink and then empty the bowl into the toilet. That way you aren't dealing with trying to aim right or messy situations. I'm sure you can even order one online if you don't have a facility near you.
