I HIGHLY recommend this monitor. It took all of the guesswork out of conception, giving me ACCURATE readings of my peak fertile days. And as a mommy of Advanced Maternal Age (over 35) believe me, I needed to take the guesswork out of baby making. I used this monitor to conceive my TWO beautiful children (28 month old and 8 month old). You could say I am a TWICE happy customer!!!
For those who claim it gave inaccurate readings: did you test EVERY day, because missing a day will yield incorrect readings; are your cycles IRREGULAR, because this product won't help you if your cycles run over 40 days; and did you perform your test within the proper WINDOW of the day, because, again, if you tested outside of the specific time period your results won't be accurate. The directions are very specific!!

After reading comments on the Amazon sit, I purchased the Fertility Monitor after trying to concieve for over a year. I tried the ovulation sticks, but my cycle is so irregular I never recieved a correct reading. Not to menton my high FSH reading and my husband's ureathral nerve twisting, we thougt we would have to search a fertility clinic in order to ever convieve. At my wits end... as asked my husband on a trip back to the U.S. to buy one for me (we currently live in Italy where nothing like Clearblue Easy is available). After 2 months (1 packet worth) I found out I was pregnant! My ovulation day came 4 days earlier than the month before. I would have never known had it not been tracking my cycle so intently. This is one reason the sticks never worked- irregularity. I would have paid double to price to recieve this reward!Customer Review: It worked for us!!

My husband and I had been trying for several months to get pregnant when this monitor was recommended to us by someone who had become pregnant the first month they used it. We are happy to say that it worked for us the first month as well!
It is easy to use but I recommend following the instructions exactly. One thing that I realized when using it was that I had previously been miscalculating when my menstrual cycle actually started- the monitor says to make sure that you count day one of your cycle as the first day of full menstrual flow, not just spotting.
You do have to start using it within the first 5 days of your cycle and you do have to buy the test strips separately. This really worked wonderfully for us and it helped to take the guesswork out of figuring out the right timing. Good luck!!

I bought this monitor in August of last year and started using it. I am 36 years old and didn't feel I had all the time in the world to just let nature take its course. I was suprised to learn that I actually ovulated earlier than the norm, and that helped me to time things better. The sticks are expensive but I got to the point where I would simply use sticks starting on Day 6 as recommended by the monitor and stopped once I got my "egg days". That helped to save a little money on the test sticks.
I highly recommend this product. I know it gave me useful tools and information to help me decide when the best time to conceive. I would start on the high days and keep going until egg time was over. I am now 4 months pregnant and very happy with my purchase. best of luck to anyone considering using this product.

I am 35 and have been off birth control since 2001; my cycles were always horribly irregular, and none of the traditional monitoring worked for us. After tons of trying, we resorted to fertility treatments and two IVF cycles resulted in two beautiful daughters who are now 5 and 3. We cannot afford more IVF, although we'd love one more baby, so I bought this monitor just to see if I was even ovulating - the price may seem high, but it is a STEAL compared to fertility treatments. I was shocked during the first cycle that it detected ovulation, and then my period came exactly 14 days later. I was even more shocked during the second cycle when my period DIDN'T come and I got a positive pregnancy test! This is a fantastic tool for irregular menstruation without other fertility issues, and I am thrilled to have found it!
