Hello. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 3 years now and we decided to try using this monitor while we were waiting to see the fertility clinic on base. We bought the monitor in November 09, but I have irregular periods and was recently diagnosed with PCOS, so January was the first month we could use it. To coincide with the monitor, my doctor had me to a Clomid challenge to make sure my ovaries are working well and would produce eggs. It seems that I also have longer cycles than most women and thanks to this monitor, I found out my peak days were days 17 and 18.
The other night I was having some severe pain in my lower abdomen and went to the ER. They did a urine test, but it came back negative and I was kind of upset. After speaking with the doctor and telling him I was only about 10 DPO, he ran a blood test and I am pregnant! Of course, my HCG levels were still low, but the OB said he was fairly certain it is just because of how early I am.
I cannot express to you how happy I am that my husband and I purchased this little thing. I was very heartbroken after trying for so long and cannot believe we got pregnant using it the first month! If you really want to get pregnant now, this takes the guesswork out of the timing and we all know, timing is essential.

I had previously had one miscarriage and waited a few months before trying to get pregnant again, and once I did I found my body was totally out of whack. I would go months without having a period, and did not know when I was ovulating, or if I was ovulating. My husband and I tried for over a year and a half to get pregnant with our son, and had no success. We took fertility tests which showed that we were both fine, so we concluded that we just did not know when the right time was to try to conceive. I tried those cheap ovulation sticks that you have to read yourself, but found that they were impossible to read accurately. So then I finally caved and shelled out the money for this digital fertility monitor. My period started and I started using the product according to the instructions, had sex on a few of my peak days, and then on the day I ovulated, which it turned out that I did not ovulate until like day 25 (most women ovulate around day 14), and then after using this monitor for just one of my menstrual cycles I took a pregnancy test about 3 weeks later and found out I was pregnant! and now my son is four months old, and as a woman who had highly irregular cycles, I know that I would not have known when the right days were to try to conceive him without this product.Customer Review: Just what we needed!

This item is very easy to use and it worked for us!
I have long cycles which vary from about 31-38 days. It has been very difficult for us to get the timing right. We have been trying to conceive for over 2 years. We had previously been using the cheap internet ovulation sticks, but it was too difficult to get an accurate read on them.
This item, on the other hand, was so simple to use! There is no mistaking the results, unlike the internet cheapies.
We actually got pregnant our first month using the monitor. It gave us confidence, not to mention I had been ovulating later than I had been thinking all along.
Sadly, this pregnancy ended in a very early miscarriage, but we are eager to try again.
Even though we're sad about the loss, we are feeling relieved that we actually can conceive and are also relieved that we have our fertility monitor.
A word of advice, women who have textbook 28 day cycles would probably not need this device. Its best for women whose cycles vary a little bit month to month. Ovulation is a little harder for us to pinpoint.
Also, yes, the item and the test sticks are expensive, I suggest using your flexible spending account if you have one, it's the best way to go.

I almost NEVER leave reviews...I said to myself that if this worked for me..I would let others know since you are spending quite a bit of money for this monitor. First a little background..I always appreciated the reviews of women who gave a little background. I am 39 with 2 girls ages 6 and 9. We decided a year ago to start trying for our last. I had no problems conceiving my first 2..But I think with my age being 39 it was a little harder this time. I have VERY long cycles and this monitor did the trick. It pinpointed my exact days of ovulation. I also followed this monitor up with regular ovulation sticks from clear blue easy. The regular sticks gave me a smiley face and this monitor gave me 2 peaks (egg symbols) and 5 high peaks...
The result is...I AM PREGNANT!!! After 12 months of trying I got pregnant with this monitor after only the first month of use...
It WORKS! Just make sure to read all the directions prior to use..and also you can only start the monitor on days 1-5 of your cycle...So if you order this after your period you will have to wait until the next month...I know its pricey..But it was worth every bit of what I paid for it..It did in 1 month what I couldn't do in 12 months...

In 07-08 I had an colostomy and lost my entire colon, causing me to go to the bathroom about 8-10 times a day on average (that is also at night) I get up throughout the night to use the restroom at least 3-5 times before getting up for the day. I was a little concerned I wouldn't get an accurate reading with the monitor but I figured I'd give it my best shot and see how it goes. (I talked to several women using the monitor who agreed 2hr and 6hrs sleep prior to FMU didn't make a difference) so I started using the monitor for the fist time on 18th of March, started testing on the 23rd. On CD8 it was low fertility, then on CD9 it jumped up to peak! I was so excited because I knew I "O" early but I didn't realize it was that early in my cycle. So I had 2 days of Peak on 9 and 10, Day 11 was high and today was back down to low. I was going to continue testing but I asked around and most women said it didn't matter once I got my peak days.
I was really shocked to see I even got a peak day on the very first cycle I used this monitor. I wont know for another few weeks if I'm PG or not... but either way, the main reason I got the monitor was to make sure I was even ovulating and I am, so that is great! I wish everyone the same success I had.
