The first several bites of the Lemon Builder bar are good, but then it gets "old." So, I only eat half a bar at a time which is actually probably good since there are 270 calories in a whole bar. these are much better than powder and great when you do not have time to cook. The price isnt bad and they stay fresh in the wrappers so they are good to bring traveling, etc. The variety of flavors is nice so you dont get board of eating them.Customer Review: Puts others protein bars to shame!

I tried one of these bars because I like mint and chocolate. It does taste good and I like the texture. Texture is actually more important to me when it comes to bars. The name is Builders, so one might relate the protein bar to bodybuilding, which I am a bodybuilding consumer. Not the case, men's bodies have a tough time utilizing soy protein for muscle building, soy being the main ingredient in this bar, and soy can actually bring in higher estrogen levels and lower testosterone. This bar is the opposite of what a male bodybuilder needs.Customer Review: good flavor, not-so-good consistency

These are tasty -- kind of like a "healthy" candy bar: not that different, really, but you feel a bit more virtuous (and they do have quite a bit of protein, which is good if you're in a bit of a hurry and need some nutrition). The difficulty for me is that these bars seem to be a bit too flaky on the outside, with bits of chocolate just falling off in little shards, so much that you have to be careful when you open these up if you're wearing anything you don't want to get chocolate on.
