Customer Review: chocolate chip clif bars- the breakfast of champions!

This is the only thing that my picky 11-year old son will eat for breakfast now, and quite often for lunch. Someone called him "chubby" one day, which he's not, but in his pre-teen mentality he was refusing to eat breakfast or lunch for a while. Clif bars were a nice compromise. I feel better giving him these than some empty carb-laden garbage like toaster strudel or waffles, so I really can't complain, and I'm thrilled that he eats something vaguely healthy. They're easy to eat on the bus, or if he gets up early with a cup of 1% milk. I toss one in his lunchbox with a piece of fruit and a drink on days he doesn't like the hot lunch. I'm happy he's eating something decent, he's happy he's got something that he likes, so it's a win-win.Customer Review: Does the Job, Lacks in Chocolately Flavor

After my workout today I needed some protein, but I didn't have my supply with me. So I scoured the nutrition-bar shelves at the 7/11 looking for a bar that offered protein, but also fiber, relatively low in calories, and low in sat. fat. I chose the Clif Chocolate Chip. 10 gm protein, only 240 cals (some of the bars were over 300), 2gm sat. fat, (many had as much as 5gm) and 5 gm fiber (some only had 1 gm). But I barely tasted any chocolate chips. Overall, still pleased with my choice. A "Builder" bar probably would have been better, since it offers more protein, but the store didn't have that.Customer Review: Good meal replacement

A very tasty treat that I use before a bike ride or other activity. They taste a bit Too good!(I sometimes eat an extra after the ride!)
