I hadn't had many Clif Bars when I started ordering these from Amazon, but I had generally been a fan. Mostly I had eaten the chocolate chip ones at that point (which seem to be a fairly popular choice). So when I started looking at all of the flavors more closely, I found that this bar was one of my top picks, purely based on the nutritional label. While there is still something to be desired in that department, this bar for me, seemed to be a slightly better choice than many of the others. I happen to be a pretty big fan of mint, and green tea, so I gave this one a shot first--and loved it. I had a little concern that it would be super minty, but it is more of a subtle flavor. I would say these are pretty compatible to other energy/nutritional bars in terms of flavor though. It's not a candy bar, so if your looking for a super sweet milk chocolate festival, this is certainly not it. I eat these primarily in the mornings, but sometimes as a snack, as a meal replacement if necessary, and sometimes even desert! They aren't really deserty, but I love eating one of these with a cup of tea at the end of the day.
I started ordering these every month, and was nervous that I would get sick of them pretty quickly, but it's been a little over a year, and I am still loving them. I did get one box that tasted a little off, but it was not very extreme. I think I just eat them enough to know what it should taste like. Other than that one box, they come on time every month, taste the same (great) every time, and they are a regular part of my diet. As is true with anything, if you can buy one from a store first, I would recommend trying it out that way, but if you can't find it there and this bar sounds good to you, it probably will be. Everyone that I have given one of these to already eats Clif Bars, so they are up for the general flavor of them, but every one of them has enjoyed it.
