Customer Review: Clif Shots on the Pacific Crest Trail

I recently hiked 75.5 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail in about three days. My pack was lighter this year because I brought about 18 Clif Shots significantly fewer energy bars. Clif Shots weight of 1.1 ounces was convenient. The Clif Shots seemed to work on getting my leg muscles hydrated quickly. I bought a case of the Chocolate clif shots and it was basically thick chocolate syrup without the cane sugar, so there was no crash even though I ate about six a day. Overall I highly recommend this products to any backpackers or day hikers. I sustained myself for 10 to 12 hours of hiking a day by eating clif shots and drinking clif electrolyte powder. The "litter leash" is a gimic. My friends had other brands of gu and shots and they just didn't open the top of theirs all the way and they did not litter. Great product. I will be buying another case next summer.
