The original Pinaud Clubman is one of my absolute favorite scents/aftershaves. This musk version isn't that much different. You still get the powdery, barbershoppy smell of original Clubman, but with a little more sweetness. There's really not much muskiness to speak of until about 3-5 hours later. The powdery scent is gone and you're left with a soft musk scent.
Overall, not bad. It's got everything I like in an aftershave: some alcohol burn, a bit of moisturizing, and it leaves my face feeling tight and smooth. Unfortunately, it's just not THAT much different from the original, non-musk variety.
If you're looking for a strong musk fragrance, try Aqua Velva Musk or Jovan Musk instead.
