Our favorite finishing salt is Fleur De Sel De Camargue but for this price, this salt is a terrific alternative. It's crunch and spark completes the taste whether its a salad or the main course....and try it in caramels!Customer Review: Wet !

I purchased this product with a new set of electric salt and pepper grinders
(which were great). When I opened this salt is seemed "wet" and when I put it
in the grinder it would not work because it would not fall into the grinding
area unless the grinder was bumped or shaken. The salt tasted ok and I will
use it for cooking, but it will not work in a grinder.

Maybe I didn't know what to expect but this salt is more like brown and dirty looking than gray. Also it seemed wet and was stuck all over the inside of the bag like it was exposed to condensation.
Didn't use it because of it's look so really can't comment on the taste or usefullness.
