Colonel Conk's Shave Soap is a good quality product, I wouldn't say great, though I've already bought another puck.
Good Lubrication, and good lather very quick, it only takes me 40 seconds to whip up a nice lather. Smell is weak, Nice smell, but a little weak. Not a Cologne Soap for sure, but pleasing scent is there. I'd recommend it to my friends. (if they'd take up Wet-Shaving)

I prefer hot shaving soap applied with a brush to any other method of shaving. This product fits my shaving mug a bit loosely but it usually stays stuck in place while working up a lather with the brush. It makes a good lather and I get a smooth shave. All in all a good product, and the price is right. The Bay Rum fragrance is nice but none too pronounced while shaving.Customer Review: great fragrance

I like the fragrance and the fact that is not persistent. The lather is not as rich as other products, neither is the lubricity. I found this not to be an issue. I'm using a modern razor that seems to do a great job without much help. It's great to wake to this fragrance in a world of standardized flavors and fragrances dominated by Mc Monster corporations.Customer Review: A great shave soap.

I bought the bay rum and the almond. They have a really nice lather that doesn't fade quickly. Nice scent on the bay rum, but a little bit faint. The almond seems to have a much stronger smell to it. I would recommend the bay rum over the almond just on scent alone, unless you just love the smell of almonds.Customer Review: Oh What a Soap

For the price, Conk is a very good soap. A good lather with little effort Lets the blade run easy over the face, and does a nice job keeping the beard moist. The Bay Rum could use a little more scent. For me this soap is at the right price and has the right quality. My search for a shaving soap is over.
