I used to buy Glisten all the time for my dishwasher, and it works really well. I use it a few times a year and my dishwasher, which is well over 20 years old, looks like new on the inside. A few years ago, on a lark I thought I would try it on the hard water stains under the rim in the toilet; I had tried everything else but I was at the point where I thought I thought nothing would get them off. I poured the glisten in the bowl, swished it around and let it sit for about a half an hour. When I brushed around the rim - all the hard water stains were completely gone; and the brushing took virtually no effort at all.
I was very pleased, but didn't think a lot about it until my local grocery store stopped selling Glisten. After a few months, the stains came back on the dishwasher and in the bathroom. I looked for Glisten everywhere but couldn't find it; I was thrilled (yes, thrilled!) when I found it on Amazon. It seems like a silly thing to write a review about or to recommend, but after not being able to use it I realized what an amazing product it is. So here we are ~ Highly recommended product for the kitchen and the bathroom.
