Don't waste your 50 bucks on those salon professional ceramic flat irons. this one is just as good for half the price. i only spent 22 bucks on this great item and it works like a dream. i've always had frizzy hair and the amazing ceramic heated iron really straightens in no time. Totally agree w/ the previous comments written for this product. Received it as a christmas present from my sister after hearing my constant complaints and frustration with the one I was BARELY USING (which was $30 VS gold-plated straightener that DOES NOTHING BUT BURNS HAIR!) This flat iron does the job right and there is no hassle about it. Good features include:
1. ON/OFF buttons allow you to have it plugged in (unlike some other ones where you have to un-plug the entire unit in order to shut it off)
2. Wide surface area allows you to get alot done w/ minimal repetition.
3. Dial to control heat level; heats up quickly

I was trying everything to manage my frizzy out of control hair. Even now after I wash my hair it looks damaged and dry. But as soon as I put my ceramic flat iron to it the trasformation is amazing. It looks sleek, silky, and has a healthy shine. I let my hair dry naturally and then take the iron to it. Best one I've tried and I've tried a few. It works just as good if not better than the rediculously expensive one the lady that cuts my hair has. Definitely worth the money.Customer Review: I definately would recommend it esp.

I can't believe it really works. I was kind of skeptical cuz' I have really thick uncontrollable hair. I have tried almost everything, but nothing really worked that nice. The only thing that can really control my frizzy thick curly hair was going to the salon, but that is way too expensive to go everyday...well, until now. I have to admit the top of my hair is still a little frizzy, but for the most part it is awesome. I definately would recommend it esp. for the price it is going for. My daughter had used this iron at a friends house and wanted to purchase it. I was unsure at first, because I have purchased many irons prior to this one. She brought it home for me to use because I have thick curly hair. Much to my surprise it worked!! Now the iron gets twice the work!! I would recommend this iron to anyone. The price is awesome and it works awesome!!
