This has worked wonderful to block sound for a 5 month and a two year old. It has even blocked the sound for two dogs as well. Their was drilling, pounding , ect., dogs barking and my 5 month and 2 year old slept though it great. Like the small design. Good selection of sounds (including the very necessary "white noise"). Good volume levels. I bought 2 - one for my baby's room and one for mine (live in a loud apartment). So far, they're doing the trick!
Also, very well priced from the store I got it from.

There are plenty of options, all easily distinguishable, to listen to, and the option to have the noise stop after an hour or continue unabated. I don't know what all the bad reviews are talking about. My machine works perfectly, sounds wonderful, has no tempermental volume issues, has no feedback, and doesn't sound 'tinny' at all to me. The fact that it comes with a plug in adapter makes it all the better in my opinion!Customer Review: Love It!

I bought this for my newborn's room and it has been great. She falls asleep listening to the ocean everyday. My husband and I can hear it from our room as well and we love the calming noise as well. This is a great product and a must have for every nursery.
