Customer Review: Conair nature sounds units does help

I am an extremely light sleeper - which means I need to drown out noises from outside to be able to sleep soundy. A noisy fan works for me, but I cannot carry it with me when travelling. This sound machine has various different sounds to choose from, and it does a wonderfull job of drowing out surrounding noises. The best thing I like about this one is, that it runs both on AC or AA batteries which last for about 4 full nights (8 hrs each night on Alkaline batteries). I hardly ever used the AC adaptor, I simply buy the AA batteries where ever I go.Customer Review: Disappointed

I bought this for a 6 week European trip so we (my two sons shared our rooms on the trip) had an alarm, a clock and a way to "cover up" the sound of my husband's snoring and the street noises. It was easy to pack. We tried to plug it in to the converter and it didn't run. Luckily, we had brought 4 new AAA batteries, but by the end of the first night, the new batteries had been sucked dry of their power. The clock was barely visible, too. The light would not work unless there was full battery so the purchase was pretty much worthless.
