I purchased this product a year or so ago. A few months back my 15 y/o son called me to say he smelled something burning in the house. He walked into the livingroom and found the unit (plugged in but not turned on) was smoking and the carpet was on fire beneath it. It's clear that the heating element burned through the side of the unit. I sent it to Conair with pieces of the carpet still melted to it, asking them to replace the unit, to please reimburse me for the damaged carpeting and to consider a recall as obviously this was a defective product. They refused to do anything and told me to "take it to the local small claims court". I will NEVER buy another Conair product.Customer Review: DON'T BUY THIS CHEAP MASSAGER!

I used this massager just two separate times, and it just stopped working altogether for no reason. I'm not surprised, however, that this thing had such a short life. The overall build of this product is fair to poor, and it was extremely weak when it did work. For such a large wand massager you'd think that Conair would take advantage of it's size and pack a stronger motor inside of it. It is NOT compact by any means.
Save your money and buy any other massager that you're considering. This one is a rip off and is destined for the trash can. This will be the last Conair product that I'll ever buy.

I ordered this Jan 6th and got it about the 12th. It lasted until Feb 6th, less than 30 days before it totaly stopped working without any prior indication. The usage was lite every day but it couldn't handle it. Everything failed so it's probibly a faulty cord. Made the mistake of buying 2 of these, I won't buy another one.Customer Review: not enough power
