I bought this productContour Backmax Support System to use after surgery required me to sleep on my back with my head raised, basically immobile for at least 1 month. The Backmax was very light to lift, yet kept its firm shape while in use. The convenience of the 3 separately covered, zippered pieces made it easy to keep it clean and change the configuration when sitting on the couch instead of laying on my bed. I used a normal quenn sized sheet to cover the whole thing overnight, and replaced it daily.
The only adjustment I needed to make was to add a couple of firm foam pillows on each side to support my arms when sleeping. The padded, supported wedge helped me getting in and out of bed, even with my limited mobility due to the surgery. I am very happy with this product, and I'm sure I will find additional uses once I am fully healed.
