I have anal cancer and have had a significant amount of pain & discomfort the last few months. This cushion is adequate for my needs. It does help keep the pressure off the sensitive area but it does mash down more than I would like. My husband had bought me an inflatable cushion which actually works better for reducing pressure but makes my legs go to sleep after 15 minutes or so. I wish I could find something that incorporates the good qualities of both. I would recommend this to anyone who is not really heavy......I don't think this product would work well for someone very large because of the way it mashes down. Otherwise a great product!

This doughnut ring is a really good one IF you can get past the smell. It is really offensive. I have sprayed it repeatedly with Febreze and it still smells horrible. I will keep spraying, however, because it really does work quite well as far as providing relief from pressure to the backs of the legs and buttocks.Customer Review: Disappointed, I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews

This product is great for the first few days, especially when I was using it before I had removed it from the plastic wrap it was encased in. Soon after removal, and normal use, it has lost its shape and does not provide the same comforting cushion it did in the first couple of days. I am currently not able to get relief by using it and am searching for a replacement because it no longer relieves the discomfort experienced around my tailbone.
It may be a magic foam but the only magical thing about it is how fast it lost its resilient ability to cushion the body.
If you only need comfort for a couple days, buy this. If you're looking for a longer term solution, you might consider something else. I'm giving this two stars because it did do the job for the first several days of use so will provide someone with temporary relief if they have the money to spend on replacements.
