When my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and her surgeon told her she can never wear anti-persperant again, I decided to take the warnings about aluminum in anti-persperant seriously and look for an alternative. I tried several deoderants before finding Crystal Body deoderant, and none of them worked more than a few hours. But Crystal Body deoderant works well beyond the 24 hours they claim. I often go running late the following morning, more than 24 hours after using Crystal stick, and still have no underarm odor. You wet the stick to apply and wait for it to dry, and it feels just like water. There is no film, scent, or flaking. You don't even know you have it on. But it works amazingly well, better than any deoderant I have used. According to the online research I did, the alum salts are too big to pass through your pores, unlike the aluminum products contained in anti-persperants. I know there is controversy over whether this is a cause of breast cancer, but if there is even a question, why take a chance when there is such a great alternative?
