I purchased this product on a whim, I had never heard of Himalayan Salt Crystals naturally purifying the air. The lamp does have a very soft warm glow like a candle. It is well made with a heavy wood base and seems very safe to leave burning, unlike a candle. The lamp bulb is the same as a night light bulb. I guess you could say this is a faith based product since there is really no way of knowing if this lamp really does cleanse and improve the quality of air. I have had the lamp for 2 or 3 weeks.
