Customer Review: a pleasant surprise from dkny

I knew that I liked Be Delicious, the other perfume from Donna Karan and asked my sister to give it to me for Christmas. She insisted that I should try Red Delicious and she bought me a gift set with both perfumes. I tried the Red Delicious, afraid that I wouldn't like it. I was pleasantly surprised. I am very picky about perfumes and I can't stand musky or powdery-smelling perfumes. This perfume, when I wear it, doesn't really smell fruity to me. It does smell a little bit like apple when you first spray it, but then the smell immediately gets more complex. It's an unusual smell with a little bit of spice and a little bit of a soapy, clean smell. This perfume lasts several hours on my skin, but the results will very depending on each individual's body chemistry. This scent is definitely more seductive and alluring than Be Delicious, which is more of a light, fun scent. My husband even likes this perfume, which is a miracle in itself. He is even more picky than I am about scents. Anyway, this perfume is worth a try, but I would strongly recommend people to try a sample at a department store first and see how the scent changes on them and how long it lasts before ordering it online.Customer Review: It's alright for those who like strong scented perfumes

My husband got me this for Christmas. Obviously he don't know me because I love soft floral scents. This perfume, in my opinion, is very strong and loud. It reminded me of something my grandma would wear & believe me she loves her strong scented perfumes like White Diamonds. But aside from that, the smell is okay, it smells beautiful, don't get me wrong, & it lasts for hours unlike some perfumes (Paris Hilton). It has a spicy fruity smell to it. But if you're a 20 something female who don't care too strongly for strong scents, this isn't for you. Might I recommend Curious by Britney Spears. & if you can't afford this but want something similar, I find Fantasy by Britney Spears a bit strong and spicy like this one.
