Overall I like this product and it makes the closets smell nice but I think it is kind of gimmicky in the sense that if you put in a dry room and it will still seem to collect moisture, so is it really getting rid of the moisture or just producing from it's own chemicals. I can't answer that but it does seem to collect water after only a week in most rooms, but like I said the smell is very pleasant and I would purchase again if there were damp issues in closets or basements.Customer Review: damp rid

I did not like this product at all. I have no idea whether it actually does anything to eliminate dampness or musty smells, because after about 10 minutes, the chemical smell permiating the entire room was so awful, I took it down, packed it up and returned it.
