I logged on to shop and end up writing a review for a dvd ;-) then I thought I'd write my review for this while I'm at it! This is as good as the "Doctors night guard" for cheaper. If you are a hard core grinder like I'm told I am...I thought of a good trick to make these last longer (I'm lucky if mine lasts 2 months) do NOT boil first! it's not as comfortable but think about it, when you boil you are biting half way through it to form. Without boiling it's twice as thick and should last twice as long right? if someone knows for a FACT this is bad please "comment". I never read comments as I don't care if someone agrees or not (too bitchy?) but will try to remember to check back. Maybe I'll just surf for answer...anyway do buy this much cheaper guard that's actually a two pack!Customer Review: Way better than my last guard!

I first purchased "The Doctor's Night Guard" at my local drugstore, for around $20.00. Not a bad price, but the guard felt like a hockey puck in my mouth, it was so huge and clunky. And I bought the smallest size! Plus it fell out of my mouth every night (and I never knew when) so it didn't seem worth keeping when it didn't even stay put.
I came across this guard and decided to try it because the reviews were so good. I have to say I am extremely pleased with not only the price, but the customer service was good (very good communication and fast shipping) and most importantly, the guard is SMALL but still does the job and stays put all night. My only other option was to drop $500 at my dentist for a custom one, but I think this is a much better deal!

I purchased this because I liked the price and the fact that it had two in one package. I am only using the smaller one right now, I figured when it wears out I can use the other one then. It was easy to fit and is actually very comfortable. I use it only at night and I don't have headaches and can tell my jaw and teeth aren't sore in the morning from grinding. One tip: after putting it in boiling water and you fit it in your mouth, just use your fingers to press it up onto your top teeth; I bit down on it a bit, and though it works great anyway, it got a little distorted from where I bit down on it.
I recommend this for anyone who has a problem with grinding their teeth while they sleep, it's a good price and you get two!

This is a great product. I did not want to spend another $400 for a night guard from my dentist so I tried this. It's just as good or better. You can shape it to your teeth and mouth and trim it down to size. I have an average sized mouth and I used the smaller guard. Another reviewer mentioned sucking the water out of the guard when sizing it and that helped me shape the guard better. I hope you'll give this a try, for the money the quality is excellent.
Update -- it's now one year later and I'm still using this guard. The price has gone up, I think I paid $12 for it in January of 2008 but it's working fine. Am going to order another one since I'm starting to wear through the current one.

I bought this mouth guard kit for my GF. She is a small woman and the small mouth guard worked better. We had to boil it twice to get a good fit. It works really well for the price. This is a way better option than the 400$ ones the dentist try to make you buy. She grind ed her teeth every night and kept waking me up. Now with this product no more girding and it works great. You have to make sure when your boil the guard to adjust it for your mouth. You SHOULD NOT bit down real hard. Bit down lightly as long as your teeth fit comfortably and the guard does not fall off when you open your mouth. Use your fingers to push down the guard to adjust it for your teeth. Over all great product for price.
