This product lasted for about one month before coming out so that was a plus especially in these hard economic times. I haven't been able to get to the dentist so this product saved me.
The only issue I have is that it's disgusting for about 3 days. Even with brushing and rinsing, the taste is very strong. After the 3rd day the taste went away.
If you follow the instructions the way they are stated, you will be fine. But you have to work fast because this stuff hardens within 1 minute. I would practice 1st if I were you.

I wasn't clear in my initial review. Each application of the filling repair lasted 1 month (if you take it easy on the chewing) because you only need a little. You will not use the entire container in one month, but probably in 5 months or longer. By the way, the picture shows the actual size of the comtainer-they are tiny.

Last night I had the most excruciating toothache and used this product. What I didn't know was that the tooth was abscessed. I applied the product as directed and a few hours later my entire face was swollen along with the pain being even more excruciating. I did not sleep the entire night. In the morning, my husband, thinking I had a bad reaction to the product, took me to the ER. Once there it was then they told me I had the abscess. PLEASE do NOT use this product if you are unsure of the presence of any infection. I was given some pain medication as well as an antibiotic at the hospital and although I feel much better because of the medication, I ended up having to go to a doctor and now I will have to go to the dentist. Both of which scare the living daylights out of me and what I was trying to avoid in using this product to begin with.
As far as the product itself, it worked as stated. It is still in place and holding well through eating and drinking once I was able. If you are SURE there is no infection/abscess present then I would recommend it based on my experience with ease of use as well as staying in place. As for me, I don't think I will use it again just because I tend to scare off easily once I have had a bad experience, hence my fear of both the doctor and dentist.

I have tried many of those temp stuff and they are a fail and melt in your mouth without much pressure or abuse, I mean so easily. This one is the hardest so far among all those I have tried. No, this does not make me happy and if you read the review I refer to above you will understand why. This one is the closest to the "temp" ready material I have received at some dentists.
I have ordered some stuff that I can mix at home from the UK and when I receive it and test it I will try to help other people and advise them as much as I can. It's supposed to be a permanent strength filling. Check back or contact me in a couple weeks so I will have answers about it.

I tried this product on a simple loose cap despite many poor internet reviews. I should have paid attention. This stuff is useless. I am an engineer with over 40 years of experience, including the use of adhesives. I followed the preparation and application directions flawlessly. I even kept pressure on for an hour (very uncomfortable). The crown fell off immediately after. Save yourself some grief and a little money and use something else.
