My Wife and I own 2 properties and on each property we are plagued with Poison Ivy. I cut the grass every week on both properties and weedwhack every other week on both. I have put on long sleeve shirts and gloves while doing this work, but I still manage to somehow get poision ivy on me and have had it 4 times this year alone. During a recent trip to the U.S. my wife picked up some of this product saying "it can't hurt". At first I used the product after the fact - which works wonderfully well at reducing the itch that comes with poison ivy. The after reading the label more closely I realized that it can also be used as a preventative to wash away the oils of poison ivy. I purchased this product in June and have had poison ivy only one time since then and feel that it does work as advertised (I got the infection just before it arrived in the mail). The one bottle I had from before - I would wash with it after I was done all of my work (which may have left the oils on my skin long enough for me to get it again)... but it certainly does help after the fact. I am washing with it now as soon as I am done my work to see if I can't prevent myself from getting it again. I like this product much better than calamine lotion etc and it does stop the itching. The vendor I actually received this product from had carefully packaged the product and it was received as promised - everyting was in good shape and exactly what I expected to receive.
