Constipation Therapy-Digestive Advantage Fast Acting 24-Hour Relief, 90ct (3 Pack)
I have been taking this product for over three years and have never had any ill effects on the contrary, it is a product that regulates digestion and benefits overall health. I don't take it exclusively for major constipation but to aid a sluggish metabolism so that I am almost normal, usually. On the occasions I'm not which are predictable and rare, I use an additional aide which has become infrequent. I strongly recommend this product to anyone wanting a healthy alternative to stimulant laxatives and a more regular bowel movement. I take only one a day.

I believe, of all the acidophelus products I've used, that Digestive Advantage is the best. You may have to take 2, but make sure you drink enough water or you'll have trouble. Yes, I have to take this and other products to produce anything in the throne room, but without Digestive Advantage, I produce deer pellets only occasionally.Customer Review: it works

I used this product for 3 1/2 months before realizing that one of its ingredients, Konjac Glucomannan, was making me ill. Wasted many, many hours of my life and spent thousands of dollars on medical bills trying to determine what was causing the illness. Stopped taking the product and the symptoms disappeared.

"Glucomannan. Made from the root of Amorphophallus Konjac, glucomannan is said to contribute to weight loss by delaying the absorption of glucose from the intestines. Small limited studies have shown glucomannan to be effective in decreasing body weight. This effect is believed to be due to a "feeling of fullness" which may be due to the swelling of the glucomannan in the gut once it has been exposed to liquids. However, esophageal obstruction has been reported in several people taking glucomannan. Glucomannan and glucomannan-containing products have been banned in several countries due to the high incidence of gastrointestinal obstruction. Glucomannan should not be used by people with a previous history of gastrointestinal obstruction, and caution should be used in diabetics."
