Seriously, I cannot believe this. I am thankful. I have to give 11 little toy poodles this everyday for allergies and 3 adults. The cost adds up even buying the generic brand at the store. Now, I do not have to worry about spending so much money on this one medicine each month. It was shipped to me with my Prime membership in two days, free. Thank you, Thank you Thank you!
Also, the pills are the bright pink just like the brand name Benedryl.
My friend who is an Emergency Medicine Tech. said all her co-worker take Benedryl to sleep as their schedules are so hectic. It really does work.
As for the dogs. Mine are all less than 10 lbs and most under 5 so I use a pill cutter to cut them in pieces equivalent to approx. 20-25 mg each per 10 lbs. of body weight, then I hide it in their food. The taste is terrible so this is necessary. I tried using a dropper to give them the children's Benedryl. I had red spots all over the place from them shaking their heads to try and get rid of it. Pills are better!
Oh, I almost forgot! Benedryl is great for allergies too. We take Zyrtec (Cetirizine). There is also a great buy on Amazon for these too! Thank goodness it is generic now. It is so expensive under Zyrtec. It works for indoor and outdoor allergies to help prevent them. I have taken it for years. Best I have ever taken. My Allergist prescribed it to me originally. I also give it to the dogs if one of them is having a really terrible time with allergies. it is OK but , please, research adequate doses before giving them any drug. You can Google the question and drug name to see if it is safe for dogs and if so, how much per lb. of body weight? How often? Of course, it is best to see a vet if at all possible when your pets life is on the line. It you absolutely can't afford a Vet. , this is the next best thing to do. Better than nothing if your pet is suffering, just be very careful!
