Customer Review: Don't Bug Me Patch - didn't work for me

I used the product per the instructions provided, which included using two patches if I was over 200 lbs. I did this two hours prior to arriving at Boy Scout camp with my son, and changed the patches every 36 hours, per the instructions. Within the first 48 hours, it was like I had nothing on to guard against Mosquitoes (or in my case, just like if I used the 25% DEET products, which are also not effective for me). I also saw no relief from the gnats at camp who were swarming around all our heads. I was bitten by mosquitoes from head to toe. This product MAY work for you, but I can say that it does not work for everyone (though I really wish it did!)Customer Review: Didn't work for me

I purchased this product based on all the positive customer reviews. The fact that these patches didn't work AT ALL for me, leads me to believe that either A.) the reviews were bogus propaganda created by the makers or B.) the patches simply work for some people and not others.
I tried these patches on my trip to Bonaire. I wore two patches (because I take birth control) continually, changing them as directed. I was eaten alive.
One thing I will say for the company is that they offer a free sample of their product on their website. So I do recommend giving them a try. What have you got to lose? Except a little blood...

I don't know if the product actually works, but it smells strongly of urine, like a baby's wet diaper. My daughter wouldn't keep it on because it "smelled like pee." I sat next to my son and asked "what smells like "pee?", forgetting he had the patch on. Unpleasant enough that I'm not sure I'll keep trying it because I don't want to walk around smelling like I wet my pants.Customer Review: Did not work for me.

I really wanted it to work, and tried it for several days. I was still eaten up. And it really smells like bad B-Vitamin overdose...skin, clothes, towels, furniture, etc. Only ones not bothered by the smell were the mosquitoes.Customer Review: Don't Bug Me Patch

This product definitely did NOT work for me. I even used 2 patches at a time as we are in an area with heavy mosquito population due to the rain. I personally would NOT recommend this product.
