Though this product is more expensive than many others, it is the product that works best for me. I am currently fighting a yeast overgrowth in my intestines and am using this probiotic to help re-establish the proper flora. This product has helped me to feel better overall and become more regular. I take one in the morning and one at night. Though you probably know this, you MUST remember to take this on an empty stomach or else you end up with an expensive digestive enzyme-type product. Still, the instructions on the box do say that if you do have an upset (sour) stomach due to something you ate, you can chew the capsule for relief because again, when taken with food, it will act more as a digestive enzyme. Other probiotics I've taken made me feel too bloated or gassy which called me off of probiotics for a long time until I finally decided to try this based on reviews I had read knowing that in order to truly make any headway with the yeast problem, I had to supplement a powerful probiotic. This is the only one I will use now because it does work without the unpleasantness I had experienced before. Seeing how I will be taking this for a while even with this price tag should testify to what an effective product it is.
