Over the years I have owned and used quite a number of sleep masks. This is by far one of the better ones I have owned and used. I am one of those unfortunate people that simply cannot sleep if there is even a small spot of light in the room. I also do a lot of traveling, staying in strange rooms, on planes, and the like. As you know, most hotel rooms are not the darkest places in the world and we won't event get into planes.
This mask is comfortable, fits well and there is no "light leakage." I rather enjoy the scent used in this one as it does indeed aide in sleep. The fabric is soft but not itchy nose soft. I am also into power naps during the day and all I have to do is slip on a nice CD of quite music or nature sounds, put this mask on, and I am gone.
I like the Velcro strap as opposed to elastic. When you buy one of these, do note that they come in various sizes so choose the correct one for you.
This is a good product and the price is certainly right.

This was a great purchase! Exactly what I was looking for!! I share a room with my sister and because she is a designer, she stays up late working in our room, so she needs the lights to be on till she goes to bed like 4am, but I need to sleep around 10pm. I am so tired every day that even with the lights on I fall sleep, but it's not the same. I wake up every other hour, I don't rest, I feel tired in the morning, etc....
... but since I got this sleep mask I've slept wonderfully!!!! I sleep the whole night! and the next morning I feel so rested and full of energy! :) I'm really happy with it. It's blue on the front, black on the back, it's padded and it's made out of silk which feels great on your eyes. It covers half my forehead and half my cheaks which feels so comfy on your face! It's complete darkness! :) delicious!!! It has an adjustable strap with velcro so you can fit it to your head size!
It's a great product! I would definetely buy it again! I totally recommend it! :)

I love it that there's a heavier pockets or cushion, however you call it, that gently presses into the eye area when you wear this eye mask. It helps me to keep my eyes firmly shut and push me into dreamland. I love that.
It's really comfortable. The softness it perfect. The string doesn't affect anything even if you sleep on your side (which I do).
The only problem is that when I first opened the product from its plastic packaging, there's a STRONG and unpleasant plastic/industrial smell. I recommend that you air it for a couple of days before you wear it. Otherwise your nose would be taking in that smell and it's neither pleasant nor healthy.
All in all, good value, wonderfully made, and excellent customer service when you contact the seller!! Highly recommended.

I bought this really, for nap time. I have trouble getting all the light out of my room during the day... The thing worked so well for me (I'm not sure how or why this started), however, that I also began wearing it at night! You really have to try it to believe what I'm saying, but this thing makes absolute darkness (or what you thought was absolute, totally and completely black), even darker! I really think I fall asleep faster at night because of this silly little mask here. Bingo, bango, I'm asleep like someone whacked me up (or down in this case) with a drug! This is a product that everyone should consider making part of his or her medicine cabinet, or wherever one stores these sorts of things!Customer Review: I Love to Sleep

I wish I purchased the Earth Therapeutics - Shut Eye Sleep Mask a year ago. This is amazing and I have been able to sleep comfortably because of this mask. Once I put on the mask, the satin cloth makes my face feel relaxed and I fall to sleep quickly. I am going to purchase this mask for birthdays and Christmas presents. I have even purchased one for my daughter and she does not go to sleep without it. Once the mask is on because of the black satin I can not see any visible light, so it makes it easier to doze off. I travel a lot and I use it on the airplane and car rides (*if I am a passenger). This is an amazing product.
