I just moved into a very bright apartment. Despite having window treatments, the light is so bright at night and in the morning that I just couldn't sleep. I decided to try this mask because it had good reviews and was a good price. I have been using it for about a month now, and it has worked great. It is comfortable on my face. There is no extra pressure or anything. The fabric is soft. It is easy to adjust the size of the mask around my head, and it isn't uncomfortable when tightened. Most importantly, it keeps out the light very effectively, and I am finally sleeping again! Overall, a great sleep mask.Customer Review: So far, I'm impressed

I just received this in the mail today, along with the Eagle Creek Comfort Eye Shade, to see which one I liked. The Eagle Creek one does allow some light to come through underneath, but this Dream Zone eyeshade can be worn to eliminate 100% of ambient light. On the side that makes contact with your face, there are padded silk pockets attached to the lower outside corners which, in my case anyway, provide total darkness. Just my first impression, but so far I like it and am glad I ordered it.Customer Review: Perfect for me

I've been using these for some years now, after having stumbled across them at a local megastore. I've used many different sleep masks over the years, all of which I was dissatisfied with for one reason or another (either they were uncomfortable or the elastic wore out fast). Once I tried this I've never used anything else; I just purchased 2 more. They are large, soft and comfy, and have an elastic band which adjusts to size with a velcro closure. I routinely run them through the washing machine with my sheets no problem. Eventually they get kind of worn and I replace them.Customer Review: It is odd to be so excited about an eye mask, but...

This is an ideal eye mask, it is large in surface area, so it will have no difficulty covering your eyes, it is soft, and padded, with a wide, adjustable, comfortable headband to keep it in place. There is a faint smell of peppermint that emanates from the mask, which is great for a headache, but may be a turn off for you if you dislike mint. I am not sure that this scent is intended by the manufacturer, but for me it is a nice bonus. I bought two as gifts, and was so impressed I am back to buy two more for my wife and I. Since I purchased this mask my sleep life has changed dramatically. I used to wake up at any bit of light shining through the bedroom window. This was a problem during windy nights because our neighbors motion sensor spotlight would shine on our window every five minutes throughout the night. Now,if I wake up in the middle of the night I place the mask over my eyes and sleep soundly. When my husband gets up before me in the morning I put the mask on after he rises and fall back asleep within minutes. I wish I would have purchased a sleep mask years ago.
