My father needed a walker as his ankle lays over on it's side and he can't walk. He had purchased a plain walker at a thrift store but every time he had to pick it up to walk he would wince in pain. So I decided to find him a better one with wheels. I did a lot of comparison shopping and for the size and price settled on this Rollator. I told my father but he was upset that I had bought one as he was sure it wouldn't hold his weight or he would have to lean forward too far to take pressure of his ankle..The time between ordering and receiving it today, I was chewing my nails thinking he was going to hate it. When it arrived I quickly put it together, no tools needed, and had dad come look. The moment he started to use it, he loved it. The seat is comfortable, it folds up without too much fuss and fits in the back seat of his car. He was able to put all his weight on it and walk. He said for the first time in a long while he could walk without pain. We also discovered that if need be he could sit down on it and someone could push him using the back rest, sort of like a wheel chair without looking like a wheel chair. I don't know if it would harm it doing that too much but for short distances I can see no reason why it wouldn't be OK. I would suggest this Rollator to anyone who needs to take pressure of their legs and/or feet to be mobile.
