Customer Review: Very happy with the Drive wheelchair

Someone recommended the Drive fly-lite wheelchair (we purchased the fly-weight wheelchair which was slightly less expensive), but they paid over $300 in a local medical supply store; we paid about $125 at Amazon. This is a well built, fits in smaller trunks as even the handles fold, and is light weight. We use to lug a heavy wheelchair around, and this has made bringing a wheelchair a breeze. The doctor's office was so impressed with it, and especially the price, they plan to purchase one through Amazon also. If you need a light weight wheelchair, this is the one to purchase. I had also called Drive to ask the difference between the fly-lite and fly-weight wheelchairs, and the main thing seemed to be this has four larger size wheels, which is easier to push over rough surfaces - yet was $50 less expensive. Highly recommend purshasing, and stop killing your back carrying/lifting a heavy wheelchair.Customer Review: Two surprises

While my wife was awaiting back surgery, we had to obtain a wheelchair of some type because she could not walk without excruciating pain. I ordered this transport chair (a wheelchair designed to be pushed) because of the price and the fact that it would fold. I was a little worried that the quality might be not so good because of the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised. 1st surprise: no assembly required. Take it out of the box, spread the sides, pop up the handles, and it is ready to go. 2nd surprise: the quality is very good -- the chair feels very sturdy although it is very lightweight. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this chair. If you need a transport wheelchair, I don't think you could do any better than this one.Customer Review: Terrific Transport

After doing much comparison shopping for a Transport Chair, I ordered this one for my 92 year old Mother. She still has limited mobility, so a standard wheelchair would have been overkill. The chair is well made & relatively lightweight. It folds and opens easily. Just the thing to take her out to appointments or to a restaurant. At home it is used as her regular sitting chair without the removable footrests. She rocks back and forth in it for exercise and relaxation. I bought her a gel cushion for more comfort since its used everyday. The money I saved by ordering the chair from Amazon paid for the cushion. This is a great transport chair. Needed in a hurry - came via next day by Amazon Prime. 1/2 the price of local stores for a 1 day wait.
Chair is easy to handle and light enough for my sister to put in trunk of car. Foot rests are detachable and chair folds just by picking it up, so it is easy to store. "Parking" brakes are easy to operate. Color Blue is a very dark blue that looks distinguished - darker blue than the image looks on web site. Ships fully assembled, except for foot rests which easily clip on and off. The upper back and push arm fold down to minimize size when storing in car trunk or like.

We are more than pleased with this transport chair ! Every good thing other reviewers had to say about it proved to be true. It is lightweight, easy to fold...very user-friendly. One great thing was that, in unpacking, no assembly was required; all we had to do was attach the foot rests.
This transport chair provides that extra bit of help for an elderly person who cannot manage long store aisles or hallways. Now we are able to take our Mom to malls, restaurants, and museums--places she could not easily visit because of the amount of walking involved. She loves it, and we love it!
