Purchased this item for my mother who had a stroke. It is useful for getting out of bed and also for re-positioning herself in the bed. Because it attaches to the bed frame and rests on the floor, it is extremely stable. It is easy to attach to the frame, the feet have height adjusters, and it does not get in the way of the bed linens. A quality item that I highly recommend.
